"This is the story of my haunted upstairs. When I first moved into the house one
year ago, I didn't like to go upstairs. I never saw or heard anything,
but I was not comfortable there. I think it was partially due to to the house being new to me,
as well as how dirty it was.
I have two friends who are very interested in ghosts.
One of them is John, who is my boss. He claims to feel the presence of ghosts.
The other one is the wife of my friend Ed, who is named Mariko.
She says that she feels ghosts and sometimes sees them.
She's been this way since she was a child.
Shortly after I moved in, both John and Mariko told me that they felt that there was something upstairs.
This really scared me when they first told me, because I was already scared of the upstairs.
But slowly I got used to the upstairs rooms, and cleaned and organized them.
After a while, both John and Mariko said that they didn't feel anything upstairs anymore.
I felt much more comfortable.
But about 1 month ago, I started to do some more work on the house.
There was a lot of noise, including some work that was done upstairs.
On the night of the Yakitori party, John went upstairs and said "it's still here".
So that made me a little afraid. But one week ago,
he came over and said that he didn't feel anything.
So, last night I had my Okonomiyaki party. Mariko came over with Ed.
I asked her if she wanted to see if she felt anything when she went upstairs.
She went to the stairs, and after going up two stairs,
she screamed and came running back into the kitchen.
Seeing her like this was very upsetting. She was completely panicked.
She said that she felt something very strong right at the bottom of the stairs and could not go any further.
She didn't say what it felt like, she only said it was very strong.
Later John came over, and I asked him to go upstairs. He said that he felt something.
He thought it was angry, and that it felt left out,
like it wanted to know why it wasn't invited to the party.
I said, ask it to come have dinner with us! But nothing happened.
Both Mariko and John feel that it is centered at the top of the stairs and in the room on the east side of the house.
Mariko first thought it was female. Of course, that room was painted pink,
so maybe that might be a clue.
So that is about all there is to my haunted upstairs. I have never seen anything or heard anything.
Of course, I have seen so many horror movies that my
imagination scares me sometimes. I don't feel afraid of going upstairs in the daylight,
or even in the evening. I do say hello when I go up there, however.
That part of the house still doesn't feel like it is mine. I mainly use it for storage.
I will include some photos."
Perhaps, SADAKO or KAYAKO lives in the room of the second floor.
